Get Involved: Support Our Wrestlers and Make the Season a Success

At Burgettstown Youth Wrestling Club (BYWC), we are more than just a team—we are a community. To provide our wrestlers with the best possible experience, we need the support of every family. Each wrestler’s parent or guardian is required to volunteer during the season to help us run our events and ensure everything goes smoothly.

Why Your Support Matters

Our tournaments and events are key to raising funds and building a strong, successful wrestling program for your child. By volunteering, you’re directly contributing to their success, ensuring they have the resources they need for a great year. From running concessions to working tables at tournaments, every role helps us continue providing opportunities for our young athletes to grow, compete, and thrive.

Volunteer Requirements

Each wrestler must have at least one adult volunteer throughout the season. We have two areas where we need your help:

Concession Stand

Help us keep the concession stand running during home tournaments. This role involves serving food and beverages to attendees, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Wrestling Tournament

Volunteers at the tables assist with scoring matches and keeping track of time. No prior experience is needed—training will be provided and work the door at our tournaments to collect admission fees and welcome guests as they arrive.
